1). CBD Oil Fights Cancer
- Studies have shown that CBD and other chemical compounds found in
hemp and cannabis have a strong anti-tumor effect. The National Library of
Medicine has found that CBD can even stop cancer cells
from growing while also increasing tumor cell death.
2). CBD Oil Helps Relieve Pain & Anxiety
Is separation anxiety or any type
of physical pain a major issue for your furbaby? Well CBD has been extensively studied for its effect on stress, anxiety and
chronic pain. Here are a few studies done on humans that illustrate how
effective CBD can be in tackling these problems:
- Reduces anxiety in both healthy people
and people with anxiety disorders
- Decreases pain (including neuropathy
and nerve-related pain).
- Reduces intestinal inflammation (associated with
irritable bowel disease)
3). CBD Oil Reduces Inflammation
- CBD shrinks the production and release of inflammatory cytokines that
can cause allergies, hypersensitivities and autoimmunity.
CBD also suppresses
the production of inflammatory macrophages, or inflamed cells that are found
especially at sites of infection.
In addition, CBD is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect the body
from free radicals (harmful molecules).
4). CBD Oil Can Treat Seizures &
Epilepsy
- It’s
approximated that nearly 5% of dogs suffer from seizures. Most dogs with
seizures are put on drugs - And while those drugs may help with the seizures, they can
often times be very harmful to your pup’s liver and other organs. Also, in some
cases the medication doesn't work at all.
Studies show that CBD works well in
drug-resistant epilepsy. >> drug-resistant epilepsy.
And a survey of children with treatment-resistant epilepsy discovered that 84% of those
taking CBD experienced a cutback in the amount of seizures. >> treatment-resistant epilepsy.
5). CBD Oil is NOT Psychoactive
- THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the chemical compound found in
cannabis that gives marijuana its psychoactive properties. However, CBD
(cannabidiol) is found in both hemp and cannabis and is completely
non-psychoactive. It is not possible for your dog or cat to get “high” from CBD
oil … he/she will get the relaxation and healing benefits without any of the
the intoxication.
